Public Transport Diversions:
Route 1 – FUN Walk – University Grounds, Tal-Qroqq Roundabout,Msida Sea Front/Marina Street (Outbound Carriageway), Pieta (Outbound Carriage Way)/, Floriana (National Road/St, Anne Street/Vjal Nelson), Valletta Centre.
Estimated Diversion/Disruption Times: 09:00hrs till 11:00hrs (Msida Area)
10:00hrs till 12:00hrs (Bombi Area)
Inbound: Routes 22, 24, 25, 31, 32, 238, 250, 260
Follow Police Instructions when participants are grouped to go round Tal-Qroqq Roundabout, down to Msida Xatt and cross straight through Msida Sea Front (Near Labour Club)
Furthermore heading to Valletta through Independence Road, Pieta, buses are to divert to pass through under the Bombi Bridge (when the Police on-site close the road) onto
National Road, turn left to pass through Spencer Hill and proceed to Valletta through the Waterfront, Crucifix Hill and onto St. Anne Street in Floriana.
Inbound: Routes 13, 13A, 14, 15, 16, 21, 35
Heading to Valletta through Independence Road, Pieta , buses are to divert to pass through under the Bombi Bridge (when the Police on-site close the road) onto National Road, turn left to pass through Spencer Hill and proceed to Valletta through Waterfront, Crucifix Hill and onto St. Anne Street in Floriana.
Inbound: Routes 41, 43, 44, 45, 46, 48, 49, 54, 56
Follow Police Instructions when participants are grouped to cross straight through Msida Sea Front (Near Labour Club).
Furthermore heading to Valletta through Independence Road, Pieta, buses are to divert to pass through under the Bombi Bridge (once the Police onsite close the road) onto National Road, turn left to pass through Spencer Hill and proceed to Valletta through Waterfront, Crucifix Hill and onto St. Anne Street in Floriana.
Inbound: Routes 47 & 58A
Coming from Psaila Street/Triq il-Ferrovija proceed through Santa Venera tunnels onto Marsa Fly-Over to Triq Dicembru 13 then through the under-ass and proceed to Valletta through Waterfront, Crucifix Hill and onto St. Anne Street in Floriana.
Route 58:
Between 09:00hrs and 11:00hrs to operate as Route 58A.
Routes X1 & X2:
No diversions required – Just follow Police Instructions when participants are grouped to go round Tal-Qroqq Roundabout down to Msida Xatt.
Routes 209:
From Marsa P&R to proceed to/from MDH through Santa Venera Tunnels.
Route 213:
From Aldo Moro Road to proceed to MDH through Sta. Venera Tunnels.
Outbound from Valletta: When Msida is closed, route buses going towards Msida will have to wait at Pieta or at certain times they can be diverted from Bombi down through Spencer Hill towards Marsa.
