MECHANIC
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Perform mechanical repairs on our fleet;
- Depending on the level of experience, perform diagnostics on vehicle breakdowns, perform preventive and corrective works whilst coordinating with the supervisor on duty;
- Proper use and care of diagnostic equipment and tools;
- Ensure that diagnostics and repairs performed are safe, reliable and in line with company safety standards;
- Fill out job cards or any other documentation related to the job to fully assure traceability;
- Assist management to ensure workspace is kept safe and clean, including proper waste management;
- Comply to company policies such as security, health and safety, data protection, quality assurance, etc.;
- Follow the Team Supervisor’s instructions;
- Carry out other duties that can be allocated or delegated by Management.
Selected candidates will be required to work shifts between Monday and Sunday on a roster basis.
Requirements:
- Three (3) years working experience in maintenance and repair of vehicles;
- Maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles;
- Ability to work in a team and with minimum supervision;
- Have good problem solving and communication skills;
- Ability to communicate in either Maltese and/or English.

ELECTRICIAN
Key responsibilities:
- Technical duties: general maintenance and repairs on starters, alternators, light body (exterior and interior) repairs;
- Fill in work orders and follow up requests sent to the storehouse;
- Perform diagnostics on vehicle electrical breakdowns and incidences and preventive and corrective works;
- Carry out general maintenance, service and repairs duties on electrics efficiently;
- Ensure that vehicles on which s/he has made diagnostic and repairs are safe and reliable, and fulfil government standard requirements;
- Filling out job cards or any other documentation related to the job to fully assure traceability;
- Ensure effective cleaning and organization of work areas and tools at all times, including hazardous wastes management;
- Ensure compliance to policies namely security, health and safety, data protection, quality assurance and eco-friendly established in the area of responsibility;
- Follow the Team Supervisor instructions;
- Carry out other duties that can be allocated or delegated by Management.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A post-secondary level of education;
- Three (3) years working experience in electrical maintenance and repair of industrial vehicles with euro 6 engines;
- Experience working on diesel engines, trucks, and buses;
- Intermediate level in either English or Maltese (verbal & written);
- Must be organized and able to coordinate and communicate well with others;
- Ability to work in a team and on own initiative;
- Have problem solving skills.

BUS DRIVERS
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Safeguard the passengers’ safety, assist and accommodate the passengers as they board and leave the bus in accordance with our safety procedures;
- Ensure compliance with the company’s policies for health and safety, risk prevention, data protection, quality and environmental control within the sphere of his/her duties;
- Cooperate/coordinate with the Service Supervisor (or any other person assigned by the Company) in other tasks as deemed necessary;
- Collect ticket fares and check that the tickets are valid;
- Scan the passengers’ Tallinja cards and ensure passengers have the correct Tallinja pass when boarding the bus;
- Carry out the route as per the itinerary and in the expected timeframe;
- Communicate to the Control Room any incidence/problem that happened during the service and any data or information related to the safety and complaints of the passengers;
- Check the technical condition of the vehicle and the equipment on board by means of daily (routine) checks, identifying in the defect sheet any possible anomalies/abnormalities;
- Hand-over of the daily collected cash (money) together with the invalid (null) tickets and the defect sheet when finishing the duty;
Requirements:
- Local Driving license required: European Category B and/or D and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence);
- Ability to communicate in English or Maltese;
- Basic level of education;
- Pass a medical examination and driving assessment;
- Clean police record;
- Required to work early morning, late evening and weekend shifts on a roster basis which is published four weeks in advance;
- Applicants with a B license will be required to sit for a driving test conducted by local authorities in Malta.

TEAM SUPERVISOR
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the Team Supervisor will coordinate and supervise required works to achieve established goals for the company in the workshop. The team supervisor is expected to execute works following plans by the Workshop Manager while ensuring the company targets for reliability and safety are achieved.
Key responsibilities:
- Assign work to the Mechanics and Electricians on duty;
- Assist mechanics to diagnose Breakdowns and incidences;
- Supervise the technical team performance;
- Make sure staff complete the required work in reasonable times and ensure job cards are compiled;
- Fill out logs, job cards and other documentation related to the job to fully assure traceability of works done;
- Assist company to maintain clean and safe work-place;
- Ensure proper use of shared tools by workforce;
- Ensure compliance to company policies such as security, health and safety, data protection, quality assurance and eco-friendly measures;
- Follow the Engineering Manager’s instructions;
- Carry out other duties that can be allocated or delegated by Management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar role;
- Good communication skills;
- Good organisational skills;
- Ability to plan, schedule and delegate work to maintenance personnel;
- Team leadership skills and ability to promote and organise teamwork within the workshop.
Preference will be given to candidates having:
- Computer knowledge;

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Revenue Reconciliation;
- Posting of invoices;

SHUNTER
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Ensure that all buses are processed through the bus wash as per company standards.
- Assist with Fuelling and Ad Blue
- Park buses in the places designated by the company as advised by the Fleet Supervisor.
- Driving buses between depots, and between each depot and Luqa workshop for maintenance, repairs and inspections.
- Fill out job cards or any other documentation related to the job to fully assure traceability.
- Follow the directions of the Fleet Supervisor and the management.
- Always ensure effective cleaning and organization of work areas and tools, including hazardous wastes management.
- Adhere to the company Health and Safety policies.

Requirements:
- Must be in possession of a European category D driving license.
- Must be available to work night shifts.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal in Maltese and/or English.

QUALITY AND SAFETY OFFICER
Including but not limited to:
- Assist in the development, coordination, and monitoring of strategic and operational plans to improve Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental standards;
- Defining procedures processes of all the departments of the organization to have a complete view of the organisation;
- Conducting business re-engineering reviews on existing and new procedures with the aim of improving customer service, reducing cost and increasing efficiency, strengthening internal controls and consistency, and improving quality;
- Liaising with the departmental teams to discuss changes in existing procedures, drafting new processes and preparing annual internal control audits;
- Follow up on processes issued and amend as required, including the management reviews and control of non-conformities;
- Carry out checks and reviews to ensure compliance with established policies relating to health and safety, environmental and quality standards across the organisation;
- Assist in the continuous certification and internal audits of ISO 9001, 45001 and other ISO standards;
- Assist in the elaboration of KPIs and accident information to identify trends, areas for improvement, training and development opportunities, and any other preventive or corrective measure that can improve health and safety, environmental and quality standards;
- Attend to the monthly Safety Committee meetings;
- Assistance and elaboration of Traffic and Occupational Accident reports as may be necessary to establish cause and identify improvements to mitigate risk;
- Usage of ARTAI system;
- Carry out alcohol and drug tests on employees as may be required;
- Daily contact with the employees from all departments of the company;
- Any other task assigned by the Health and Safety and Quality Manager.
Requirements:
- Tertiary level of education preferably in quality and safety background;
- Working experience as a Quality Coordinator (for ISO Certification) or a similar position;
- Hands-on experience in quality (ISO Certification), implementing and monitoring standards will be considered an asset.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Including but not limited to:
- Design, develop and maintain business applications;
- Evaluate business requirements and implement integration solutions;
- Design and develop ETL processes for proposed data models and utilize them efficiently;

- Offer technical support and troubleshooting integration and ETL issues;

Requirements:
- Preference will be given to candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree;
- Ideally holds 2 years’ experience;

- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and REST API design;
- Knowledge of MYSQL, PostgreSQL and ability to write optimised queries;

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EXECUTIVE
Including but not limited to:
- Collaboratively set service improvement standards, and performance indicators, and implement action plans and audit procedures.
- Recognise potential complaint situations and make effective steps to avoid and/or resolve these situations.
- Acting proactively rather than reactively to any potential problems which could possibly result in complaints.
- Identify and meet the needs of our customers.

- Perform bi-weekly visits to all terminus and main hubs pointing out areas that need to be improved from a customer and operational point of view
- Define, together with the Communication Department, the information to be shown at Terminus and main hubs
- To carry out quarterly audits analysing the compliance with the contract in terms of buses and drivers appearance
Requirements:
- Professional qualification in Customer Experience, Marketing, Business, or other relevant discipline.
- Fluency in the English language, both written and oral.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a responsible position, including experience in Business to Consumer Customer Experience or Marketing.
- Experience in Transport will be considered an asset.
