Vacancies available:

MECHANIC 

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: 

  • Perform mechanical repairs on our fleet;
  • Depending on the level of experience, perform diagnostics on vehicle breakdowns, perform preventive and corrective works whilst coordinating with the supervisor on duty;
  • Proper use and care of diagnostic equipment and tools;
  • Ensure that diagnostics and repairs performed are safe, reliable and in line with company safety standards;
  • Fill out job cards or any other documentation related to the job to fully assure traceability;
  • Assist management to ensure workspace is kept safe and clean, including proper waste management;
  • Comply to company policies such as security, health and safety, data protection, quality assurance, etc.;
  • Follow the Team Supervisor’s instructions;
  • Carry out other duties that can be allocated or delegated by Management. 

Selected candidates will be required to work shifts between Monday and Sunday on a roster basis. 

Requirements: 

  • Three (3) years working experience in maintenance and repair of vehicles;
  • Maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles;
  • Ability to work in a team and with minimum supervision;
  • Have good problem solving and communication skills;
  • Ability to communicate in either Maltese and/or English.

ELECTRICIAN 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Technical duties: general maintenance and repairs on starters, alternators, light body (exterior and interior) repairs;
  • Fill in work orders and follow up requests sent to the storehouse;
  • Perform diagnostics on vehicle electrical breakdowns and incidences and preventive and corrective works;
  • Carry out general maintenance, service and repairs duties on electrics efficiently;
  • Ensure that vehicles on which s/he has made diagnostic and repairs are safe and reliable, and fulfil government standard requirements;
  • Filling out job cards or any other documentation related to the job to fully assure traceability;
  • Ensure effective cleaning and organization of work areas and tools at all times, including hazardous wastes management;
  • Ensure compliance to policies namely security, health and safety, data protection, quality assurance and eco-friendly established in the area of responsibility;
  • Follow the Team Supervisor instructions;
  • Carry out other duties that can be allocated or delegated by Management. 

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • A post-secondary level of education;
  • Three (3) years working experience in electrical maintenance and repair of industrial vehicles with euro 6 engines;
  • Experience working on diesel engines, trucks, and buses;
  • Intermediate level in either English or Maltese (verbal & written);
  • Must be organized and able to coordinate and communicate well with others;
  • Ability to work in a team and on own initiative;
  • Have problem solving skills. 

The selected candidate will be required to work shifts between Monday and Sunday on a roster basis, including night shifts.

BUS DRIVERS 

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Safeguard the passengers’ safety, assist and accommodate the passengers as they board and leave the bus in accordance with our safety procedures;
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s policies for health and safety, risk prevention, data protection, quality and environmental control within the sphere of his/her duties;
  • Cooperate/coordinate with the Service Supervisor (or any other person assigned by the Company) in other tasks as deemed necessary;
  • Collect ticket fares and check that the tickets are valid;
  • Scan the passengers’ Tallinja cards and ensure passengers have the correct Tallinja pass when boarding the bus;
  • Carry out the route as per the itinerary and in the expected timeframe;
  • Communicate to the Control Room any incidence/problem that happened during the service and any data or information related to the safety and complaints of the passengers;
  • Check the technical condition of the vehicle and the equipment on board by means of daily (routine) checks, identifying in the defect sheet any possible anomalies/abnormalities;
  • Hand-over of the daily collected cash (money) together with the invalid (null) tickets and the defect sheet when finishing the duty;

 Requirements:

  • Local Driving license required: European Category B and/or D and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence);
  • Ability to communicate in English or Maltese;
  • Basic level of education;
  • Pass a medical examination and driving assessment;
  • Clean police record;
  • Required to work early morning, late evening and weekend shifts on a roster basis which is published four weeks in advance;
  • Applicants with a B license will be required to sit for a driving test conducted by local authorities in Malta.

Infrastructure Technical Administrator 

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Organisation of repair and maintenance of company Assets, installations, infrastructures, equipment and tools, and buildings.
  • Develop and maintain an effective and efficient preventative maintenance schedule for all the company’s assets and ensure they are safe to use, and in compliance with OHSA or any other regulatory authority requirements and regulations.
  • Organisation of company equipment operation manuals, Service manuals & circuit diagrams.
  • Organisation of all premises permits, plans & electrical diagrams.
  • Followup on annual certifications on various company assets.
  • Implement, assign and verify the execution of the equipment maintenance plans. 
  • Liaise and coordinate work with other team members and departments/areas involved. 
  • Maintain safety procedures up to date at all times and comply with company policies and regulations. 

 Requirements:

  • Be in possession of a technical diploma in an engineering area.
  • 3 years experience in a similar role;
  • Driving  Licence B;
  • A strong knowledge of Microsoft office software is a must.
  • Be proficient in Maltese and English;
  • Be ability to work on own initiative; 
  • Be a team player and respect other co-workers; 
  • Knowledge in health and safety requirements as per OHSA legislation.

Marketing Executive 

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Plan and execute all marketing efforts including SEO, CRM and database marketing, social media, signage and offline marketing and advertising.
  • Liaise with the product owners to develop marketing and communication plans for individual products as well as advertising campaigns, and to ensure that these plans align with the Company’s marketing strategy. Develop agency briefs as and when required.
  • Measure and report upon the performance of all marketing campaigns.
  • Identify trends and insights and carry out tests (eg. A/B Tests) to continuously optimise spend and marketing ROI.
  • Act as the single point of contact between the Company and its agencies and marketing suppliers.
  • Manage the Company’s social media presence.
  • Manage the Company’s website content.
  • Coordinate the library of media assets including images and videos.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field with preference for digital marketing.
  • Be proficient verbally and written in both, English and Maltese.
  • Three years experience in marketing with preference for digital marketing.
  • Experience with leading SEO, CRM and database marketing, social media and display advertising campaigns.
  • Experience with testing methods and analytical tools (eg. Google Analytics).
  • Experience with setting up google Adwords and Meta Ads.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven skills.
  • Keeps up-to-date with the latest trends and practices in digital marketing.

Sales Agent 

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Be knowledgeable of Malta Public Transport fares
  • Sell all available fares and credit top ups from the various sales outlets
  • Handle cash, applications, top ups and close out sales at the end of each working shift according to current reconciliation Sales Policy
  • Maintain self-organization on stocks and any other materials required to perform duties effectively
  • Answer customers’ questions and increase customer satisfaction
  • Effectively communicate our policies to customers and ensure this knowledge is current and accurate according to the Company’s revisions and updates
  • Project a safe and welcoming attitude towards customers

Requirements:

  • Ordinary level standard of education.
  • Be proficient verbally and written in both, English and Maltese.
  • ECDL qualified
  • 1 year experience in sales or a similar position in the service industry.
  • Team player and flexible to adapt to changes
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Problem solving skills
  • Organized and able to achieve sales results
  • Ability to work alone and remain self-motived to meet targets
