Malta Public Transport Provides Special Service for Earth Garden 2023

Earth Garden, one of Europe's best-kept secrets for the past 15 years, is ready to kick off the summer buzz as it transforms Ta' Qali National Park into a haven of music, culture, and inspiration. Malta Public Transport is proud to announce its continued support and organization of a Special Service for Earth Garden 2023, ensuring festival-goers have convenient and eco-friendly transportation options.

Earth Garden Festival, held annually on the first weekend of June, has established itself as one of Europe's top alternative festivals. Featuring five unique and diverse stages, this three-day extravaganza promises to take music enthusiasts on an unforgettable journey and serve as a melting pot of international influences.

Malta Public Transport will be providing a Special Service to facilitate transportation to Earth Garden 2023. The following routes will be available:

  • TQ1 (North Route): Departs from Ta' Qali and stops in Rabat, Mosta, Naxxar, St Paul's Bay, Bugibba, and Qawra.
  • TQ2 (Central Route): Departs from Ta' Qali and stops in Lija, Birkirkara Bypass, San Ġwann, St Julian's, Sliema, and Valletta.
  • TQ3 (Southeast Route): Departs from Ta' Qali and stops in Attard, Balzan, B'Kara, Ħamrun, Paola, Cottonera, Żabbar, Fgura, Tarxien, Żejtun, and Birzebbuġa.
  • TQ4 (Southwest Route): Departs from Ta' Qali and stops in Zebbug, Qormi, Marsa P&R, Luqa, Kirkop, Safi, and Zurrieq. 

The departure times for the above routes are 23:15hrs, 00:15hrs, 01:15hrs, and 02:15hrs.

In addition to the above routes, festival-goers can also utilize the following routes operated by Malta Public Transport:

  • Route 50: Departs from Valletta Bay C1 and stops in Floriana, Pietà, Imsida, Swatar, Birkirkara, Ħal Balzan, Ħ’Attard, Ta’ Qali 
  • Route 51: Departs from Valletta Bay C2 and stops in Floriana, Ħamrun, Santa Venera, Fleur-de-Lys, Birkirkara, Ħ’Attard, Ta’ Qali 
  • Route 52: Departs from Valletta Bay C2 and stops in Floriana, Ħamrun, Santa Venera, Fleur-de-Lys, Birkirkara, Ħ’Attard, Ta’ Qali
  • Route 53: Departs from Valletta Bay C2 and stops in Floriana, Ħamrun, Santa Venera, Fleur-de-Lys, Birkirkara, Ħ’Attard, Ta’ Qali 
  • Route 56: Departs from Valletta Bay C3 and stops at Floriana, Tal-Pietà, L-Imsida, Is-Swatar, Birkirkara, Ħal Balzan, Ħ’Attard, Ta’ Qali 
  • Route 109: Departs from Bahrija and stops at Rabat, Ta’ Qali 
  • Route 181: Departs from Sptar 2 and stops in Imsida, Santa Venera, Birkirkara, Ħal Balzan, Ħ’Attard, Ta’ Qali
  • Route 186: Departs from Rabat 2 and stops in Ta’ Qali 
  • Route 202: Departs from Rabat 2 and stops in Ta’ Qali 
  • Route X3: Departs from Airport 2 and stops at Santa Luċija, Paola, Marsa, Santa Venera, Birkirkara, Ħal Balzan, Ħ’Attard, Ta’ Qali 

Malta Public Transport is encouraging everyone to make the switch to choosing public transport as their first and preferred option to reach Earth Garden 2023. Not only does it align with the festival’s environmental aims at reducing carbon emissions, but it also offers a cost-effective and convenient alternative to limited parking spaces.
