Replacing your tallinja Card - Malta Public Transport

Lost, stolen, expired and damaged cards

If your tallinja cards is lost, stolen or damaged, you may order a replacement card by visiting one of our Sales and Information Offices and paying the administrative fee of €15.00 and a new card will be issued there and then.

Any credit available on the lost or damaged tallinja card shall be transferred to your new tallinja card.

It is important that you report such instances immediately to reduce the risk of the lost or stolen card being used by someone else. Once a tallinja card is reported as lost, damaged or stolen it is blacklisted and it cannot be used again, even if it is found after being blacklisted.

If the card is expired, due to the Cardholder no longer being eligible to a card type, Cardholder may order a replacement card at any one of our Sales and Information Offices at a charge of €5.00 administrative fee.

Non-personalised cards are not replaceable and customers will not be refunded for lost non personalised cards.
