Travel with Tallinja on 21st December to Support L-Istrina

Malta Public Transport is launching its eighth edition of Tallinja għal L-Istrina on Saturday, 21^st December 2024, in collaboration with the Office of the President. This annual initiative raises funds for the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation (MCCFF).

H.E. President Myriam Spiteri Debono expressed her appreciation for this initiative, which she described as an important part of a series of activities in aid of L-Istrina, so that the funds raised can help those in need.

Felipe Cosmen, Chairman of Malta Public Transport, said, “We encourage everyone to use our services on 21^st December to help raise funds for L-Istrina. It’s a simple way to make a difference during the festive season.”

For every journey taken by passengers on the day, including those using the free transport scheme, Malta Public Transport will make a donation to the MCCFF. The more people travel by bus on the day, the more funds will be raised to support this cause.

Since 2016, Malta Public Transport has contributed over €284,000 to the MCCFF through this initiative.
