Malta Public Transport Special Services for Earth Garden Festival 2024

Malta Public Transport will be providing special services for Earth Garden Festival, starting from Thursday, 6th June till Sunday, 9th June at Ta’ Qali National Park.

Festival attendees can use the following routes to reach Ta’ Qali near the National Stadium:

  • Route 186: Departing every 30 minutes from Bugibba.
  • Route 56: Departing every hour from Valletta.
  • Route 202: Departing hourly from Pembroke, San Giljan, and Sliema.

Additionally, routes 51, 52, 53, X3, 181, and 182 will pass through Mdina Road with a drop-off at the "QALI 2" bus stop.

At the end of each event day, Malta Public Transport will offer special late-night services departing from Ta’ Qali at 23:15hrs, 00:15hrs, 01:15hrs, and 02:15hrs, as follows:

  • TQ1 (North Route): With stops in Rabat, Mosta, Naxxar, St. Paul’s Bay, Bugibba, and Qawra.
  • TQ2 (Central Route): With stops in Lija, Birkirkara Bypass, San Ġwann, St. Julian’s, Sliema, and Valletta.
  • TQ3 (Southeast Route): With stops in Attard, Balzan, Birkirkara, Ħamrun, Paola, Cottonera, Żabbar, Fgura, Tarxien, Żejtun, and Birzebbuġa.
  • TQ4 (Southwest Route): With stops in Zebbug, Qormi, Marsa P&R, Luqa, Kirkop, Safi, and Zurrieq.

All personalised Tallinja Card holders can travel free of charge on these special service trips. For passengers without a valid Tallinja Card, cash tickets at €3 per passenger will be available for purchase from the bus ticket machine.

Earth Garden will be featuring five stages with various genres of music, workshops, talks, an Ethnic Market, a Kids’ Fun Park, chillout areas, food courts, and camping areas.
