New Bus Route for Students

06/10/2016

In order to provide a better service for students, Malta Public Transport has introduced the new Route 30 that operates form Bombi to university and stops at Kulleġġ in Msida. The new route, which operates from Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 10:00 offers a direct link to students at Junior College and the University of Malta.

“We are seeing an increase in the number of students who are choosing to travel by bus,” said Daniel Grech, Commercial Director at Malta Public Transport. “We have introduced this new service in order to offer students a quicker and alternative way to get to Junior College and University from the Bombi bus stop, which is very busy during peak times.”

The route X1A, which is a direct route from Cirkewwa to University and MCAST in Paola, is also in operation, giving students from Gozo a direct link from the ferry to their place of study.
