As a response to the ongoing and developing unfortunate situation in Ukraine and Russia, various nations have lately imposed sanctions on Russia's top financial institutions and subsidiaries. Customers who have VISA or Mastercard Debit/Credit cards issued by these institutions are more likely to have their transactions denied at the authorisation stage due to these measures.
