Tallinja Concession Card- Malta Public Transport

Concession Tallinja Card

Kartanzjan

Kartanzjan

The Concession card is available to Kartanzjan Holders / Maltese 60+ Identity Card Holders and to holders of EU Disability Card with “MT” mark or Special ID Cards issued by the Commissions for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).

The Concession card is blue and will be personalised with your photo and name and can be topped up with credit easily.

Up to 30 September 2022

When using your tallinja card you will benefit from cheaper fares than when you pay on the bus. Every time you board the bus simply touch the reader on the bus with your tallinja card. A fare for every journey of 25c will be deducted automatically from your credit up to a maximum of 50c every day or €2 every week (Night Services excluded).

This means that once the total spend of all your journeys reaches 50c in a day or €2 in a week you will not pay for any more journeys for the rest of the day or week. It’s that easy. The more you travel, the more you save!

With effect from 1 October 2022

Holders of a Tallinja Concession Card will travel for free on Day Routes, Night Routes and Special Services. Tallinja Direct (TD) Routes are not free and a fare will apply.

When registering for a Tallinja Concession Card, you will be required to upload an image of the EU Disability Card with “MT” mark or Special ID Card issued by the Commissions for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) through the online form.
