Malta Public Transport to offer Special Services for Fireworks Festival 2024

Malta Public Transport is announcing special services tailored for attendees of the Fireworks Festival, scheduled for 3rd May 2024. As a part of Malta's cultural calendar, the festival draws crowds from all over the island and beyond to witness spectacular displays of colourful pyrotechnics.

To ensure various public transport options for festival-goers, the company will be operating special routes departing from Valletta to key destinations across Malta. The special services are set to commence on the night of 3rd May, aligning with the festival's festivities programme.

The following routes will be in operation:

  • S10 Route: Departures from Valletta Bay A2 at approximately every 25-30 minutes from 11:30 pm to 12:20 am.
  • S20 Route: Departures from Valletta Bay A3 at approximately every 25-30 minutes from 11:35 pm to 12:20 am.
  • S30 Route: Departures from Valletta Bay A4 at approximately every 25-30 minutes from 11:30 pm to 12:20 am.
  • S40 Route: Departures from Valletta Bay A6 at approximately every 25-30 minutes from 11:35 pm to 12:20 am.
  • S41 Route: Departures from Valletta Bay A5 at approximately every 25-30 minutes from 11:30 pm to 12:20 am.
  • S50 Route: Departures from Valletta Bay A7 at approximately every 25-30 minutes from 11:35 pm to 12:20 am.
  • S60 Route: Departures from Valletta Bay A8 at approximately every 25-30 minutes from 11:30 pm to 12:20 am.
  • S70 Route: Departures from Valletta Bay A9 at approximately every 25-30 minutes from 11:35 pm to 12:20 am.
  • S80 Route: Departures from Valletta Bay A10 at approximately every 25-30 minutes from 11:30 pm to 12:20 am.
  • S90 Route: Departures from Valletta Bay A11 at approximately every 25-30 minutes from 11:35 pm to 12:20 am.
  • S13 Route: Departures from Valletta Bay A14 at various times from 11:35 pm to 12:25 am.

In addition to the special routes, normal night routes will also operate as usual.
