Part-Time Bus Driver Recruitment
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company buses safely and in accordance with company policies and traffic regulations.
- Follow assigned routes, timetables, and schedules.
- Collect fares and validate passenger tickets and Tallinja cards.
- Assist passengers boarding and leaving the bus safely.
- Communicate incidents, safety concerns, and service issues to the Control Room.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers and other road users.
- Complete all required operational procedures, including cash and documentation handovers.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, Health & Safety standards, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Valid Category D Driving Licence and CPC (TAG in Malta).
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to take initiative and respond effectively to unforeseen situations.
- Customer-friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
- Basic level of education.
- Knowledge of transport regulations and safety procedures is considered an asset.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must already be residing in Malta.
- Applicants must already be in possession of a valid Category D Driving Licence.
- Guaranteed between 16 and 30 hours of work per week.
- Weekend-only availability will also be considered.
- Working hours will be scheduled based on availability and operational requirements.
- Training on bus routes will be provided.
