Malta Public Transport announces special services for Malta-Poland World Cup Qualifier

Malta Public Transport will be operating additional services on Monday 17 November in connection with the 2026 World Cup Qualifier match between Malta and Poland, scheduled to kick off at 8:45pm at the Ta’ Qali National Stadium.

The frequency of routes serving Ta’ Qali will be increased, including Route 202 from Sliema, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm, Route 56 from Valletta between 6.15pm and 7.45pm, and Route 186 from Buġibba, between 6.35pm and 8.05pm.

Buses will be available at the end of the match and will operate according to demand.

These extra services, which are free for Tallinja Card holders, will provide a convenient travel option, making it easier to reach and return from the match. Passengers without a valid Tallinja Card can purchase tickets for €3 per passenger onboard, paying cash or contactless.
