Special Public Transport Service for Malta – Scotland Football Match on 4 September

Malta Public Transport will operate a special service for the awaited football match between Malta and Scotland, next Sunday 4th September at the National Stadium in Ta’ Qali. This match will be the first one from four matches to be played by Malta against England, Slovakia, Slovenia and Lithuania in group F to qualify for the ‘World Cup Russia 2018’. 

 

Malta Public Transport will be operating a special route taking passengers from Valletta to the National Stadium in Ta’ Qali with services leaving the Valletta Bus Terminus every 30 minutes between 17:15 and 19:45.

 

At the end of the match the special service will run again at 22:45 operating the following two routes:

 

  1. From Ta’ Qali to Buġibba Terminus via Mosta and St. Paul’s Bay, and
  2. From Ta’ Qali to St. Julian’s, Sliema and Valletta.

 

The fares will be as follows: €3.00 in cash on-board the bus; €2.50 when paying with a tallinja card; two journeys when paying with the 12 Single Day Journeys card; and there will be no extra charge when using the Explore Card.
