Due to the Malta Marathon 2019 which will be taking place on Sunday 24th February , access to many roads will be closed and diversions around the island especially in the localities that the marathon will be passing from.
The Malta Marathon will start from Rabat and will proceed through Ta Qali, Attard, Mriehel, Marsa, Bombi, Msida, Ta Xbiex, Gzira and will finish in Sliema Ferries.
Public transport services will stop operating between 08:00 and 12:00 from Attard, Ta' Qali, Mriehel, Santa Venera and Hamrun to Valletta.
During the race some routes will be diverted and some bus stops will not be served.
Therefore the below routes will be affected from 8:00am to 12:00am:
- 21 Sliema (From 05:00 - 14:00)
- 56 Attard (From 08:00 - 11:00)
- 74 Marsa (From 09:00 - 12:30)
- 109 Attard (From 08:00 - 11:00)
