Getting Started with Your EV Charging Experience

Charging up at the Zone D Marsa station is simple. Follow these steps to get your vehicle charged in no time:

Download the EVPoint – Charge Forward App

Download the EVPoint app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store . This app is your all-in-one tool for accessing real-time information about the charging station, starting and stopping your session, and managing payments.

Set Up Payment

Enter your payment information in the EVPoint app to ensure a smooth, hassle-free experience. Credit card payments make it easy to charge and go!

Initiate Charging

Step 1: Use the app to either scan the QR code on the EV charger or select the charger’s ID directly in the app.

Step 2: Connect your vehicle’s charging cable to the CCS2 port, then press “Start Charging” in the app. Your charging session will begin immediately.

Note: The station offers a hands-free, app-controlled experience—ideal for minimising waiting time and ensuring convenience.

Stop Charging Anytime

When your car’s battery reaches the desired level or you’re ready to leave, you can end the charging session through the app or by pressing the STOP button on the charger’s touch screen.

This function gives you full control over your charging experience, letting you resume your journey whenever you’re ready.

Important Safety Notice

For optimal safety and to prevent vehicle damage:

Ground Clearance: If your vehicle’s ground clearance is less than 12 cm, it’s recommended not to use this facility.

Use at Your Own Risk: Vehicles parked in the charging area beyond the allowed charging time will be removed at the owner’s expense.

On-Site Assistance and Emergency Protocols

For smooth use of the charging station:

Guidance on Site: Signage around the charging station clearly explains safe parking, connection, and disconnection procedures.

Emergency Protocols: In the unlikely event of an emergency, halt the charging by pressing STOP on the screen or via the app, then safely disconnect the cable. If necessary, alert the on-site security team for assistance and refer to the Emergency Evaluation Plan displayed near the charging station.
